FOr years my dad always insisted that when I was a teenager, he had caught me smoking behind the garage. I insisted I never did, as I was a little afraid of his gruffness and would not have chanced getting caught. I finally told my sister my frustration, and she giggled and told me that she was the one he caught. But he won’t believe that it was my well-behaved little sister and now always teases.
The funniest memory I have of my Dad is when he taught me how to ice skate but actually did not know how to do it himself so he was falling down more than me but I learned how to skate.
The funniest moment was when he and I painted the kitchen and he speared paint over his entire mustache!
One time when I was really young, we went to the grocery store. My siblings and I stayed in the car and my dad eventually came back with this little fluff ball of a puppy. We were all so excited and started thinking up names immediately but my dad was like, “Nope. His name is going to be Puddles because he will most likely be leaving puddles all over my floor.” Silly dad.
My dad traded out my pet turtle for a much larger version and then told me I over feed him. Although scared, it was hilarious!
